Plastic Waste Management Initiative for a Sustainable Dhaka

Youth Prochesta Foundation is implementing community-based plastic waste management and environmental awareness initiatives to promote a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Dhaka.

As part of this initiative, dedicated PET Plastic Collection Bins have been installed to encourage responsible plastic disposal, recycling practices, and public participation in environmental protection. The project is supported by Azim Rokia Rahman Trust and focuses on reducing plastic pollution while promoting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Responsible Consumption & Production, Sustainable Cities & Communities, and Climate Action.

Through youth engagement, community participation, and awareness-driven action, the initiative aims to build long-term environmental responsibility and inspire citizens to take part in creating a cleaner urban future.
